encrypted password in Parameter File

  • On Windows, From command prompt go to folder bin of Server
     CD C:\Informatica\PowerCenter8.6.0\server\bin

  • Type following command where infotgt is password of target database
          pmpasswd infotgt -e CRYPT_DATA

  • Use the encrypted password in Parameter File
     [Dinesh.WF:wf_EMP_DEPT_SAL.ST:s_EMP_DEPT_SAL]
     $Param_tgt=rhDGQbmanvR2xgbbbfLw6A==
